Kashmiri youth lies under moving train, apologizes after stunt video goes viral

Srinagar: In an incident which took place in Kashmir, a youth performed a dangerous stunt. He lay on the railway track and the train passed over him.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, the youth, a native of Bijbehara area in south Kashmir was arrested on Tuesday after video of the stunt went viral.

However, on Wednesday, he apologized for this act. “I apologise to all the people who commented or shared my stupid stunt”, he wrote on social media. He further said that he feels ashamed of his act and requested police to pardon him.

In the video which went viral, he can be performing the stunt.

Reacting on the stunt, former Chief Minister of J&K, Mr. Omar Abdullah tweeted, “Arresting him isn’t the solution. He should be counselled & let off with a stern warning. Our prisons are too full of young men as it is & stupidity isn’t a crime”.

Talking about the incident, a police officer said that the youth have been arrested as his act may encourage others to do such stunt.
