Srinagar: Authorities today dismissed as “false” reports that some Kashmiri students studying at two engineering colleges here were targeted by local students in protest against the incidents in NIT campus in Srinagar.
“Nobody was attacked in our college. It was just a few local students who yesterday unfurled the national flag and raised slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’. Then everything was normal and normal class work continued,” Principal Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET), Sameru Sharma said.
She said regular classes and sectional exams are being conducted and no exams have been cancelled or postponed.
