Three students studying in a private university in Noida complaint that their colleague assaulted them and forced them to raise anti-Pakistan slogans. CM of Kashmir, Mr. Omer Abdullah reacted strongly and protested that Govt. of UP should accept that it cannot protect Kashmiri students. This incident took place two months after the incident of celebrating the victory of Pakistan’s cricket team in Meerut University by a group of Kashmiri Students. 60 Kashmiri students were struck off the rolls of Meerut University.
A Kashmiri Student who is studying at Noida International University told that a group of 5-6 students who were intoxicated abused him and assaulted him. They knocked at his door late at night but when he did not respond to them they barged into his room forcibly and started asking about Kashmiri students. They forced the Kashmiri students to raise the slogans “Hindustan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Murdabad”. When the Kashmiri student asked them why should he do so, they again abused him and assaulted him. They said that the Kashmiri students are terrorist. Mr. Omer Abdullah told that he would send the resident commissioner of Kashmir at New Delhi to visit Noida and to send a fact finding report after which the next step would be taken out.
