Kashmiri people are bearing the brunt of centre’s wrong policy

Poonch: Former J&K Chief Minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Saturday claimed that people of Jammu and Kashmir are bearing the brunt of the wrong policy of the central government. He said the people sitting in Delhi talk of hoisting flag in Pakistan, but did not succeed in taking even an inch of land.

Addressing a public meeting here on Saturday, Farooq Abdullah said they make irresponsible statements sitting in Delhi and the consequences are borne by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said our people are killed on both sides of the border. “On one side we have nuclear powers China and Pakistan and on the other India. And all have atom bombs. We have nothing except the name of Allah. We have no atom bombs, no army and no jets. How are we going to survive,” Dr Abdullah said.

He said National Conference has always talked of peace. He appealed India and Pakistan for peace.
