Chandergam (J-K), April 26: A Kashmiri Pandit youth has been missing for the last 22 days leaving his parents and villagers worried about his whereabouts.
Sushil Raina had left his home at Chandergam village in south Kashmir, 100 kms from Srinagar, to collect a certificate from the college where he studied.
The 20-year-old went missing on April 4 — the first day of Navratra.
“He told his mother he is going to college to collect the marks certificate. He told her that he will be back by 3 PM for the lunch,” Badrinath Raina (Sushil’s father) said.
Sushil, whose parents did not migrate out of the Kashmir Valley at the eruption of militancy in 1990, was also teaching at a private village school.
While most of the minority community members fled from the Valley two decades ago, all the 10 Pandit families decided to stay back in the village.
