Lucknow: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday sought a report from the Uttar Pradesh government in connection with violence which has erupted in state’s Kasganj district. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the state government about the reasons for the spread of this violence. It also lashed out the UP government for not stopping during the time.
Clarifying it the home minister said, “whenever any such incident takes place in any part of the country, the Home Ministry asks for the report.”
Several questions have been asked in the report including, what was the reason behind the spread of violence? Why it took so much time to stop it? Why did police and administration fail to stop it? Why could situation not be controlled within time?
