YSR Congress Party MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy on Wednesday held Chief Minsiter N Kiran Kumar Reddy responsible for the progress in the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons here, Karunakar Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister strategically facilitated the smooth conduct of bifurcation process. He said that Chief Minister opposed the YSRCP’s proposal of mass resignation to create constitutional crisis in order to stop AP’s bifurcation. However, now the Chief Minister and his supporters are planning to resign from their posts. “Why didn’t the CM resign immediately after CWC’s decision on bifurcation,” he asked.
Karunakar Reddy alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy’s main goal was to earn hundreds of crores using his Chief Minister’s post. Since his goal has been fulfilled, he is now ready to resign, he alleged adding that resignations at this stage would serve no purpose. He alleged that the Chief Minister was enacting a drama scripted by the Congress High Command to ensure division of the State. (INN)
