Karne slams Uttam, Revanth for “loose” talk

Hyderabad: TRS leaders Karne Prabhakar, G Ramachandra Rao and others today lashed out at the TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Revanth Reddy for indulging in “loose” talk at an all-party meeting.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan here, Prabhakar accused the Congress leaders of resorting to mud-slinging for mileage. The Congress and its friendly parties like the TD and others are trying to malign the image of the government with regard to projects. While the TRS leaders are busy with Pragathi Nivedan meeting arrangements, Reveanth Reddy was talking foolishly that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao distributed Rs 1 cr to each of legislators, they fumed.

They also warned of serious action if Revanth Reddy fails to abstain from making such mindless comments. They slammed the Congress leaders for “loose” talk against Kaleshwaram and other projects and spewing venom on the government. The Congress was against the development of communities through several welfare schemes and alleging that KCR was dividing the society on caste lines, they said. The people will teach the Congress a lesson and will be attending in lakhs to Pragathi Nivedan meeting in Kongarakalan on September 2, they said.

The Congress leaders, who failed to complete projects like Tummidihatti and other projects during their regime were now shedding crocodile tears, they charged. The Congress does not like completion of the projects as that will prove a death-knell in future politics, the TRS leaders said.
