TRS leader K Prabhakar today slammed the Congress for taking up Praja Chaitanya Yatra. Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office here, he lashed out at the Congress for its malafied intention of mud-slinging on the government. The people of Telangana do not want any such dirty politics of the Congress which is making yatras to please its high command. Comparing the Congress with an old fox, the TRS leader said that getting colours of youth will not make them so young. The congress will not even get seats need for being an opposition in next elections. Instead of making the tour in public the congress should make a trip to Kaleshwaram and see the development of the projects.
He condemned the comments of the congress leader Shabbir Ali for semi final of polls. The TRS leader flayed the congress for failing to seek clarification on the resignation of Revanth Reddy who switched to it from the Congress recently. The congress yatras are only for political mileage and to protect their posts in the party he fumed. He said that the Congress turned Palamur as the district of migration and ignored the agriculture and irrigation. The TRS government by completing irrigation projects, increasing ayacut and implementing schemes has attracting the migrants back to their home towns and villages to eke out their livelihood.(NSS)
