TRS spokesman and MLC Karne Prabhakar today lashed out at newly joined Congress leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy for making baseless allegations on irrigation projects. Nagam’s comments are aimed at maligning the image of the State government, he fumed.
Addressing mediapersons at TRS Legislature Party office here on Wednesday, Prabhakar condemned Nagam’s comments as baseless against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao. Janardhan Reddy who joined the Congress recently was resorting to make false charges against the government and adopting double standards, he fumed.
Nagam, who is nicknamed as Agam Reddy and Biyyam Reddy, will now be called as Abaddala (liar) Reddy. “During his stint in the TDP, Nagam had made grave allegations against late YSR and now joined the Congress”, he said. There was no use for the Congress to have leaders like Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who lost credibility. Prabhakar also predicted that Nagam will face the same fate in the Congress as he has already suffered attacks in Osmania University during statehood movement.
There was no truth in what Nagam was talking about irregularities and corruption in the irrigation projects, he said. Nagam, with no other go, joined the Congress after dumping the BJP and will not have better future, Prabhakar said. He also said that Janardhan Reddy joined the Congress, which is against the irrigation projects. (NSS)
