Social worker Shaikh Abdur Rahman Bawazir in a statement hailed the new Karnataka Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah’s historic move and said that taking the first move after taking oath as chief minister Mr. Siddaramaiah has lifted the ban on cow slaughter in the State. By signing his first file through which he lifted the ban on cow slaughter which was implemented by the erstwhile BJP regime in the State by introducing Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Preservation Bill, 2012, the new chief minister has proved himself minority friendly.
In his statement Mr. Shaikh Abdur Rahman Bawazir appealed the new chief minister of Karnataka to induct at least two or three Muslim ministers in his new cabinet.
