Karimnagar District Collector Smita Sabharwal directed officials to complete land acquisition for the Singareni Collieries Company’s open cast-II project in Godavarikhani area in Karimnagar district. Addressing a review meeting with officials of the Singareni Collieries Company Ltd, the collector said that 302 acres of land has been acquired so far in Ladnapur village in Manthani revenue division limits. She said that 101 acres more land has to be acquired. Smita Sabharwal instructed officials to pay compensation for the acquired land. She directed officials to see that no harm is caused to animals in the forest area. PTI
