Mumbai, July 21: Kareena Kapoor recently admitted she was upset when Imtiaz Ali signed Deepika Padukone for Love Aaj Kal, given their hit pairing in Jab We Met. Indeed, most in the film world were surprised when Deepika was offered the lead role opposite Saif instead of Bebo. But Imtiaz is not too happy with Bebo’s diatribe.
In a recent interview to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the director pulled out all the stops and spoke his mind out on Kareena’s outburst. “I know Kareena was upset with me because I didn’t approach her (for the film). But the way she’s expressed her displeasure is very strange.”
