At a promotional event of Ki and Ka, Kareena Kapoor Khan said her sole condition for marrying actor Saif Ali Khan was that she would work all her life and he would support her. Kareena and Saif married each other in October 2012 after a five-year long relationship.
In her upcoming film Ki and Ka, Kareena will be seen as a career-oriented woman, while Arjun Kapoor will play the role of a supportive house husband.
In a promotional event of Ki and Ka, Kareena said, “Today is Women’s Day and you equate women with mother earth, mother Mary. They have the power. They have extra power and so they can multi-task.”
“Today I am a wife and all my life I will work and earn money and my husband will support. That is the only condition (on which) I married Saif,” said the 35-year-old actor.
In one of the promos of the film, Arjun is seen wearing a mangalsutra and when Kareena was asked about this, the Jab We Met actor said, “This has never been seen before. I thought it’s a great idea. He is carrying it so proudly that it looks sexy.”
Apart from Kareena and Arjun, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya. Directed by R Balki, Ki and Ka will release on April 1.
