Karachi, a safe haven for D: Intelligence predicts ghar wapsi

It seems that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is out of harm’s way from Afghanistan-Pakistan border and so is believed to be back in Karachi due to security concerns.

According to report, the country’s spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) makes a decision to shift him from the Afghan-Pak border due to recent war going on with Pakistan army and Tehrik-e Taliban.

The intelligence reports also suggested that Dawood was keen on visiting Saudi Arabia with his family and also demanded a chartered plane from Pakistani authorities.

Dawood Ibrahim’s intercepted conversations this month indicated the underworld don is running his real estate empire from Pakistan and is investing and striking property deals worth millions.

Earlier this week, Chota Shakil and Anish Ibrahim’s phone has been tapped by the Indian agency and their location was traced back to Karachi.

Dawood has been wanted in the1993 bomb blast case in Mumbai the same year.

Indian intelligence agencies have repeatedly said that he is in Pakistan but Pakistani authorities have been denying that.
