The coastal venue has welcomed a host of other world-class players like European Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke, three-time Major winner Padraig Harrington and evergreen Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez also in the line-up.
Dutchman Joost Luiten will hope to send the home fans wild again, two years after he triumphed here, beating Jimenez in a play-off, while Englishman Jamie Donaldson returns from injury hoping to add to his three European Tour victories.
The KLM Open is one of only seven tournaments to have been played every season since The European Tour started in 1972.
