Kapil Sibal to appear for AMU in minority status case

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader, former union minister and senior advocate of Supreme Court Kapil Sibal has agreed to appear for Aligarh Muslim University in its minority status. A delegation led by president AMU students’ union and former MP Mohammed Adeeb met advocate Kapil Sibal at his residence and discussed Aligarh Muslim University minority status issue.

The delegation comprised of Supreme Court advocate Z K Faizan, Haji Salamatullah, Dr Azam Mir Khan Vice President Aligarh Muslim University, former president AMU students’ union Shahzad Barni. The delegation spoke at length about the minority status issue.

Later speaking to Inquilab bureau Mohammed Adeeb told that Kapil Sibal has agreed to appear for Aligarh Muslim University in minority status case.
