Mumbai :Kangana Ranaut choses to remain silent on reports about her close comptitor Deepika Padukone is now the highest paid actress in B-Town.
Three-time National Award-winner Kangana had earlierclaimed that she was the highest-paid actress gettingremuneration of Rs 11 crore for each project.
Recent reports however have suggested that Deepika hashas left Kangna behind in terms of pay by signing Sanjay LeelaBhansali’s “Padmavati” for Rs 12 crore.
When last night Kangana was quizzed about these reportsshe just gave a stern look and parried the question.
The 29-year-old star met with the poser by the reportersat the Mumbai airport as she returned from the US where shehad gone for preparation of Hansal Mehta’s next “Simran”
Kangana plays the role of a Gujarati NRI named PrafulPatel. “Preparations for ‘Simran’ is going good. I enjoyed theworkshop session that we did in the US,” Kangana said whenasked about the film. According to sources shooting of the film will begin from September end.
