Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has never had inhibitions speaking her heart. She has least reservations expressing what she feels and is very much unlike many of her contemporaries.
Can you think of an A-List actress who is in the best phase of her career and yet wants to get married? Well, Kangana is an exception.
The curly-haired beauty, who has three National Awards, already in her kitty, has apparently found someone who she deeply loves. However, she isn’t ready to date him because she is eager to take the marital plunge.
In a tete-a-tete for film critic Anupama Chopra’s digital platform Film Companion, Kangana spoke candidly about her ideology of marriage and how it has evolved with time, reads a statement.
She said: “In your early 20s, you wonder why people get married. In late 20s, maternal instincts kick in and you see things differently. It’s nice to come back to a partner who’s watching your back.”
“I wanted to give my best to a relationship without the baggage of legal relationships. I now want to give marriage my best but the other person must also come with the same attitude. I have found someone who I deeply love but I’m not keen on just dating. I want to get married.”
Kangana has been linked to Aditya Pancholi, Adhyayan Suman and Hrithik Roshan in the past. She was also said to have been in a relationship with a British man.
Coming back to the present, the actress, who hails from Himachal, hasn’t revealed the name of the man in her life at the moment.
On the work front, Kangy is busy promoting her upcoming Vishal Bhardwaj film ‘Rangoon’ which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film is slated to release on February 24.
