Advisor to Telangana Government K.V. Ramana Chary on Friday said that the State Government would extend the ‘Kalyana Lakshmi’ scheme for poor Brahmin girls.
Speaking to media persons here, Ramana Chary said that the government would extend financial assistance to the poor Brahmins by including them in the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. He also informed that the website of Brahmin Welfare Parishad would be launched on May 9 and the foundation stone for Brahmin Sadan at Gachibowli would be laid on June 5. He said Swami Vivekananda Overseas Scholarship would be provided to Brahmin students. (INN)
