Works related to land acquisition for prestigious Kaleswharam project have taken speed as the government releasing funds on time. Even as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao himself is closely monitoring the projects, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao is holding regular reviews on the progress. As a result, the related works taken speed as the officials are working hard to reach the targets.
Harish Rao is to hold a review meeting on the same on Thursday. After delimitation process the project is now being come up to include seven districts. Besides construction of barrages and pump houses at Medigadda, Sundila and Annaram land acquisition works are on at Mid Manair, Ellampally and others. Followed by Harish Rao direction the officials are trying to convince the farmers and people at village meetings to give their lands for the project. The works divided into various packages are likely to be completed by July, September and December next year. (NSS)
