Jaipur: The wax statue of former President APJ Abdul Kalam, to be installed at the Knowledge Centre in Rameswaram, has been sent from Jaipur Wax Museum, authorities said today.

Founder-director of Jaipur Wax Museum, Anoop Srivastava said the wax statue was gifted following a request from his family members.

The statue, completed in three months, weighs 45 kilograms. Twenty-five kilograms of wax was used in the production of the statue that was built by sculptor Sushanta Ray and his team.
