Planetary Society, India, today announced the launch of an year-long ‘Kalam Mars Observation Center Project’, commencing from August 26, 2015 to September 24, 2016. A poster on the Project was also released. PSR Srinivasa Sastry, Scientist, RCI, DRDO, Prof G Ramadass, Emeritus Professor, Osmania University, N Sri Raghunandan Kumar, Founder Secretary, PSI were among those present on the occasion.
Raghunandan Kumar said series of Lectures by Experts to sensitize the students, Sky observations for students in their schools by setting up its Astronomical Telescope in the host school and opportunity to observe for general public through a special campaign, forms part of the project
