Kadiam vows to regularize contract lecturers, warns them to keep off politicians

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today warned that Contract Lecturers should not be carried away by some vested interests which were making a hue and cry on regularization of their posts. They will be the losers if they go with some political parties which are protesting, he said.

The Deputy Chief Minister asserted that the State government was committed to keep its promise of regularizing services of the contract lecturers. “As per GO No. 14, we have increased their salaries to Rs 27,000 from Rs 18,000. These posts will get regularized and the contract lecturers should stay away from the Opposition parties which were bent on creating hurdles and causing embarrassment to the government, he added.
