Mumbai, November 15:Harneet Guljar, husband of Kaanta Laga fame item girl Shefali Jariwala, has responded to the allegations she made in an FIR lodged on Wednesday. Guljar said he had lodged a police complaint against Jariwala and her family way back in May 2007.
“Shefali and her family threatened us and demanded a huge amount of money to end the marriage,” he alleged.
In her complaint, Jariwala had alleged that Guljar demanded money from her as well as her relatives and also assaulted her. The Kaanta Laga girl had also claimed that her husband was creating problems in her professional life, to which Guljar said she “anyway had very little work after marriage”.
