MUMBAI: BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has indirectly hit out at Shah Rukh Khan ahead of the release “Raees”and supported Hrithik Roshans “Kaabil”.
Vijayvargiya tweeted out a poster stating:
“Ab Bari Desh Ki Kaabil Janta Ki Hain, Jo Kaabil Hain, Uska Haq Koi Beimaan Raees Na Chin Paye”
He also wrote: “Jo ‘Raees’ Desh Ka Nahi, Woh Kiss Kaam Ka Nahi. Aur Ek ‘Kaabil’ DeshBhakt Ka Saath, Toh Hum Sabko Dena Hi Chahiye.”
(Now it is the turn of the ‘Kaabil’ citizen of this country. No ‘Raees’ should snatch the rights of a Kabil Indian. The Raees who is not of his own country is useless and we should all support Kaabil (competent) patriot).
In the tweet the politician has not taken name of Shah Rukh Khan but has indirectly targeted the actor by calling anti-national’.
जो #Raees देश का नहीं, वो किसी काम का नहीं।
और एक #Kaabil देशभक्त का साथ, तो हम सभी को देना ही चाहिए। pic.twitter.com/S5ufpuQTPJ

Vijayvargiya’s controversial and rabid communal statements don’t come as a surprise since the politician’s past record shows that he is new to such controversies.
In 2015, he tweeted: “Shah Rukh Khan lives in India, but his heart is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he finds India intolerant,” and “When many died in Bombay in 1993, where was Shah Rukh Khan? When 26/11 attacks took place in Mumbai, where was Shah Rukh?”
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, “Raees” was at the centre of a controversy for casting Pakistan actor Mahira Khan.
Mahira plays the 51-year-old actors love interest in the film, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as a police officer.
Post Karan Johars “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, the SRK-starrer will be the second big film to be released after Raj Thackerays Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) called for a ban on Pakistani artistes in wake of Uri attacks.
Both “Raees” and “Kaabil” are set to release on January 25.
Shah Rukh had also met the MNS chief to avoid any pre-release trouble due to Mahiras presence in the movie.
