KA Paul’s judicial remand extended till June 25

The Principal Sessions Court here on Monday extended the judicial remand of evangelist and Praja Shanti party founder K A Paul till June 25. He was arrested for allegedly conspiring to murder his brother David Raju.

The Sessions court announced this decision after the officials produced Paul in the court following expiry of his remand.

Earlier, the court dismissed the bail petition of Paul as the police produced recorded telephonic conversation that allegedly took place between Paul and Koteswara Rao, the main accused in David Raju murder case, in the court. The court while extending Paul’s judicial remand granted Prison Transit warrant to shift him to Ongole from Mahbubnagar in connection with investigations.
