K Sri Hari: from teacher to minister

Member of parliament from Warangal K Sri Hari, who played an important role in state politics, has been appointed as member of the parliament for the third time. He also served on four key ministerial posts during TDP rule in united Andhra Pradesh. Mr. K Sri Hari who was basically a teacher, began his political career by joining Telugu Desam Party and elected MLA for three times. During the period he served as a minister in former Chief Ministers N T Rama Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure. Dissenting with Chandrababu Naidu’s anti Telangana stand, K Sri Hari resigned from TDP in May 2013 and joined TRS. Soon after joining TRS, KCR appointed him as TRS politburo member.

Mr. Sri Hari studied in Warangal till graduation. Later he did MSC from Osmania University. During 1975 to 1977 he worked as Manager Syndicate Bank in Nizamabad. Later during 1977 to 1987 he served as junior lecturer and made political debut by joining NTR led TDP in 1987.
