K. Rahman Khan, Teesta Setalvad and Ahmedullah to address International Seminar on Muslim Women

Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Centre for Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy in collaboration with ICSSR is organizing a 3-day International Conference on “Status of Muslim Women in Indian Sub-Continent” on 6th – 8th March 2013.

The Valedictory Session will start at 4:00 p.m. at Library Auditorium. Janab K. Rahman Khan. Hon’ble Minister for Minority Affairs, Govt. of India will be the Chief Guest, Ms. Teesta Setalvad, Indian Civil Rights Activist and Journalist will be the Guest of Honour, Prof. Shahnaz Nabi, Head, Dept. of Urdu, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, Prof. Nazmunnisa Mahtab, Head, Dept. of Women and Gender Studies, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh will be the Guest Speaker.

Janab S. M. Ahmedullah, Minister of Minority Affairs, Govt. of AP will also be present in the programme. Prof. Mohammad Miyan, Vice-Chancellor will preside over the session.
