Hyderabad, January 27: This news would be read with great sorrow that K M Razi Uddin IRS Deputy Commissioner Customs and Central Excise (Banglore) died of heart attack in the evening of January 25. He was 40.
K M Razi Uddin was the son of K M Arif Uddin founder secretary Madina Group of Educational Institutions. Funeral prayers will be offered on Thursday, January 27 after Zohr prayers at Shahi Masjid Public Gardens. Burial will take place in graveyard masjid Cheunti shah Osman pura.
K M Razi Uddin was returning to Bangalore from Chennai following Customs and Central Excise conference when he suffered from a severe heart attack near Kanchiwaram. He was being taken to hospital when he died enroute to hospital.
A wave of sorrow gripped the educational, literary, religious and cultural circles as the news of sudden demise of Razi Uddin reached the city.
K M Razi Uddin was the student of Madina Public School. He graduated from Nizam College, did MBA from Sultan Ul Uloom College and completed his MA (Mass Communication) from Central University of Hyderabad. He was appointed for IRS in 1996.
When K M Arif Uddin launched the campaign for higher education among Muslim students K M Razi Uddin himself emerged as a role model. The sudden demise of a qualified and promising youth is an irreparable loss for the community. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
