Hyderabad, November 23: To review the situation of old city, Commissioner Police Mr. A K Khan last night made the rounds on foot and exchanged views with several police officials. On the occasion Mr. Khan told that police alert will be continued till December 15 and strict vigilance will be kept on unscrupulous elements. He said that there is a plan to deploy women police constables and home guards for security at historical Makkah Masjid but it would be decided only after taking the opinion of religious scholars.
Commissioner of police further told that TDP corporator Raja Singh was interrogated after taking him into custody and later released but it doesn’t mean that he has been given clean chit. He can be arrested any time since the police are engaged in gathering proofs against him.
