A K Khan addresses ‘Meet the Press’, vows to try his best for Minority Welfare

Hyderabad: Advisor to the government for minority affairs, A. K. Khan (Retd. IAS) pledged that he will try his best to carry out the duties of Minority Welfare assigned to him. He further said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar is taking serious measures to provide equal developmental opportunities to minorities in general and Muslims in particular on par with other backward classes; hence it is now our responsibility to see that the welfare measures of the government reach their target. He was addressing ‘Meet the press’ programme organised by Telangana Union of Working Journalists’ here at BC Hall, Himayatnagar.

He said the major cause of downfall of Muslims is lack of education. Hence Chief Minister who is well aware of the causes of downfall of Muslims is trying to link Muslims of Telangana with education.
