BC Welfare Minister Jogu Ramanna today said that Jyothi Bha Phule Gurukul Institutions excelled in Intermediate Results 2018 announced by the government. Addressing a press conference with secretary B Venkatesham and officials at Secretariat here the minister appreciated the students for outshining the ranks of the government colleges.
The Minister claimed that in first year 1457 students out of 1685 students appeared passed the exams with 86.47 per cent against the state pass per centage of 62 per cent. He also said that 958 students achieved grade A, 369 students B grade and 102 students grade C, 28 D and 228 E grade.
Ramanna also informed that in second year 953 students out of 1123 appeared have passed and got 85 pass per centage against the 67 pass per centage at state level. (NSS)
