Hyderabad, April 2: Central government rewarded Justice Srikrishna with a new post for submitting report against formation of separate Telangana state.
Justice Srikrishna submitted his report as the chairman of the committee formed to look into the issue of bifurcation of the state, in which all in all he recommended for keeping the state united.
Now central government has appointed him as the chairman of Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission. His duty is to propose financial policies and reformations in them.
Meanwhile Telangana Rashtriya Samithi has frowned upon the decision. KCR’s daughter K Kavitha condemning the appointment said ‘there are many financial experts available at national level but the central government has appointed Justice Srikrishna for the significant post. This clearly indicates that the central government has rewarded him for the Srikrishna committee report.
