Justice Ghulam Mohammed appointed acting Chief Justice of A.P.

Hyderabad, October 26: The senior most Judge of A.P. High Court has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of A.P. High Court consequent on the retirement of Justice Nisar Ahmed Kukroo. He will continue to act as Chief Justice till the appointment of a permanent Chief Justice is made.

Justice Ghulam Mohammed belongs to a middle class family of Hyderabad. He was born on 6th April 1950. He studied in Begum Bazar Primary School and Gosha Mahal High School. Later he obtained degrees in Science and Law from Osmania University. He was appointed Addl. Judge of the A.P. High Court in 1999 and was made a permanent judge in 2000.
