A 16-member German delegation met Telangana Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao at his chambers in the State Secretariat here on Monday.
The team, led by BenhardSchust, comprised of Damic Martic, Rajesh Seth and other members from Germany, representing companies like German Engineering Federation, Deilman-Haniel Mining Systems GmBH, Seimag Tecberg, Voith Turbo, VDMA, Geo Constech, Scharf, which are into the fields of Mining Machinery Manufacturing and Sales, Mining Consulting Services, Mining Education and Skill Development.
The Minister apprised the team about the salient and unique features of New Industrial Policy of Telangana, TS-I PASS, T-IDEA and the hassle free arrangement of clearances to projects within record 15 days time. He also explained the availability of Land Bank, Infrastructure, Power, Water etc., He also explained about availability of good number of internationally reputed institutes and also the skilled workforce in the state.
The Minister, while reiterating about good physical and social infrastructural facilities available in the state, requested the delegation to establish their units in Telangana. He assured all possible cooperation to the investors in arranging hassle free environment and best services from the State Government mechanism.
Industries Secretary Arvind Kumar and TSIIC VC&MD E Narsimaha Reddy answered the various queries of the delegation on issues like power plants on anvil in the state , Skill Development (TASK) Programmes etc.,
The German Delegation expressed their willingness to extend their services and share expertise to the Technical Institutes (Mining) in the State for enhancing the skill development in mining sector in the areas like, Fault Finding, Recommissioning Handling of Modern Machinery etc. , (INN)
