Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Friday asked Telangana TDP leaders to clarify their stand on Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme.
Speaking to media persons here, Jupally said that the T-TDP leaders should restrain their party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu from obstructing the construction of Palamuru project which would irrigate about 10 lakh acres of land. Reiterating that Palamuru Project got all the clearances from the Centre before the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, he condemned Naidu for camping in New Delhi to stall the project. He expressed confidence that the Centre would not stop the works on Palamuru project.
Jupally also claimed that the Mahabubnagar district bandh call given by the TRS on Friday was successfully with various sections of the society participating in the bandh voluntarily. (INN)
