Dehradun, April 27: Nearly a week has passed since a teenager was killed by a leopard in Dwarikhal area following which the feline was declared a man-eater.
A team of hunters deployed in the area sighted the feline a couple of days ago and shot at the leopard but were unable to hit it.
Officials state that inspite of the presence of the leopard in the area, the villagers are not cooperating with the department and have continued to take risks like moving alone after sunset, which make them easy prey for a man-eater.
