Lahore: Pakistan left-arm pacer Junaid Khan has denied rumours about him considering options regarding switching to England cricket team, despite being disappointed after being repeatedly kept out of the national side by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
According to Dawn, Khan admitted that he was immensely disappointed for not being selected for the upcoming England tour.
He also expressed discomfort over the news floating around that he is considering to move to England and play for them. “There is no truth in any such claim,” he asserted.
“Lancashire was interested to sign him again but he didn’t sign the contract because he was confident that his name will be include in the Test squad touring England. I don’t know what else I will have to do to make a comeback in the national side, as I have already performed well in the PSL and Pakistan A team,” Khan said. (ANI)
