Hyderabad, August 27: Friday prayer was performed with fear of God and humility on the Jummatul vida the last Friday of Holy Ramadan, in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Largest congregation was seen at the historical Makkah masjid on the occasion of Jummatul vida, where Misbah Alqurrah Maulana Hafiz Abdullah Qureshi Alzahravi led the Friday prayers.
Imams in various exhorted the ummah to continue worshiping with same fervour even after Ramadan. They advised them to inhabit the mosques as they were inhabited during Ramadan.
Imams of mosques urged the Muslim men and women not to head towards markets the night before Eid as the ‘chand raat’ the night in which the Eid-ul-Fitr moon is sighted is Lailatul Jaiza. This night is similar to payment day of a labour. Instead of spending the night at markets it should be tried to seek Allah’s pleasure. They said.
