Hyderabad, November 26: The XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court at Nampally here today remanded till December 9, the judicial remand of ten accused in the multi-crore accounting fraud of the erstwhile Satyam Computer Services Limited (Satyam).
All the accused, except former Satyam CEO B Ramalinga Raju, were produced before the court by the CBI, when the judge extended their remand. The judge also posted the case regarding the second supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI court till December 9 as the copies of the chargesheet were not given to the accused so far.
The CBI filed a 200-page supplementary chargesheet before the court on November 24, citing 1549 additional documents, 301 additional witnesses and nine material objects. The entire documentation runs to 55,000 pages.
The CBI said the evidence available with the agency enlarged the size of the fraud to Rs 11,875 crore from the earlier estimate of Rs 7,136 crore. The investors might have lost Rs 14,000 crore during the crisis period, it added.
