Jubilee Hills police register FIR on Suri murder

Hyderabad, January 5: The Jubilee Hills police have registered a case on the murder of Anantapur faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri based on the detailed information given by the deceased’s driver Madhusudan Reddy during interrogation. The police registered FIR against Bhanu and another gun man Madan Mohan Singh under Sections 307 IPC and Section 27 of Arms Act.

It may be mentioned here that Suri’s car driver Madhusudan Reddy was taken into custody and subjected to interrogation by the police.

According to the FIR, Maddelacheruvu Suri, Bhanu Kiran and Madhusudan Reddy left Alekhya Apartment in Jubilee Hills at around 3.30 pm on January 3, 2011 for Sanathnagar. The trio met Suri’s lawyers, Mr Achyutha Reddy and Mr Ramakrishna Reddy and discussed about Paritala Ravindra’s murder case.

Later, they proceeded to the residence of Mr Srinivas Reddy, a confidant of the faction leader, at Banjara Hills. While Madhusudan Reddy drove the car with Suri sitting in the front seat beside the driver, Bhanu Kiran sat in the rear seat behind Suri. The car windows were closed as AC was switched on.

The car was proceeding at 25kmph. There was a big sound when the car reached Navodaya Colony. While Madhusudan Reddy slowed down the car, Bhanu Kiran got down the car saying that there was big sound as a result of an attack. At that time, Suri asked Madhusudan Reddy “what happened” and fell on him. Madhusudan found blood flowing from Suri’s head. When Madhu rang up Bhanu, the latter said that he would talk later. Then, Madhu took Suri to the Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills and got him admitted, the FIR stated.
