Jammu, December 12: Welcoming Centre’s move over Telangana, Jammu State Morcha (JSM) today appealed to the government to recognise the genuine demands of various regions throughout the country.
“We welcome the statement of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram accepting the demand for creation of new Telangana state and the announcement that Andhra state assembly and Parliament would initiate the process for its creation,” president of JSM Virender Gupta told reporters here.
The morcha congratulates the people of Telangana and Chandra Sekhar Rao for the success.
He said the Centre should constitute a new commission for the re-organisation of states and creating new states where the need is.
