Guntur, May 06: A junior doctor at the Guntur Government General Hospital who allegedly misbehaved with an attendant of a heart patient last night, was handed over to the police.
According to information, house surgeon Ravi Teja allegedly misbehaved with a girl, an attendant of a heart patient.
When she raised an alarm, people nearby caught him and handed him over to the police outpost and later to the Kothapet police station.
However, no case was registered against the junior doctor as the girl did not file any complaint.
Hospital superintendent D Phanibushana Rao said a three-member committee was constituted to inquire into the matter. Disciplinary action would be taken against the house surgeon based on the report, he added.
