Loksatta leader Jayaprakash Narayan has showered praises on Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan saying that he was extending greetings to the latter for seriously thinking about the welfare of the people.
He reminded that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi too stated that the Andhra Pradesh State was meted out injustice with the division of the united state and alleged that not implementation of Division Act was nothing but burning the boat after crossing the river. The present Central government was not implementing even written assurances. He demanded the Centre to do justice to Two Telugu states. He said peaceful atmosphere prevailed in two Telugu States and extended greetings to both Chief Ministers in this regard. He made it clear that he would strive at his level in achieving Division Act assurances.
It may be mentioned here that Pawan Kalyan met Jayaprakash Narayan today at the latter’s office located at Begumpet to float a JAC to achieve special status to Andhra Pradesh State along with former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar. Both discussed on the formalities on setting up JAC.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan and JP said that they will fight for the rights of two Telugu states but not only for Andhra Pradesh state. Pawan asked the centre to extend financial help to Telangana state to create industries and AIMS. He said that they will step ahead discussing with two Telugu states intellectuals. (NSS)
