Hyderabad, March 25: The Working Journalists and other employees observed a protest day on Thursday as part of the nation wide call given by the Confederation of Newspaper and News Agency Employees Organisations. Demonstrations and dharnas were held at several places and the members submitted memoranda to district Collectors and senior officials. In Hyderabad, a delegation of journalists met Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to intercede and impress upon the Government of India to notify the recommendations of the Majithia Wage Board.
