Noida, January 05: Prominent personalities, including those from media and politics, today attended the post-death ritual of late Atul Maheshwari, managing director of Amar Ujala group, here.
The 55-year-old, who is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter, had died in a Gurgaon hospital on Monday.
Former BJP chief Rajnath Singh, UP party president Surya Pratap and leader Kalraj Mishra, Congress leader Raj Babbar, former MP Chetan Chauhan, former Uttarakhand minister Dhirendra Singh were among the political heavyweights who attended the ritual in Sector 50 here.
Among the media fraternity present were Dainik Jagran group director Devesh Gupta and Chief general manager Nishikant Thakur, Hindustan group editor Shashi Shekar and senior journalists Prabhu Chawla, Vinod Dua and Rahul Dev.
