Hyderabad, June 1: According to the report of Mr. Sohail Anjum from Delhi, famous journalist, former editor of Azeembad daily and former secretary of Urdu academy Bihar, Dr. Rizwan Ahmed breathed his last on Tuesday in Patna. He was 65. He is survived by a widow and a daughter.
Dr. Ahmed was unwell for nearly one year. He suffered from liver failure.
He was a true and honest journalist and always held journalistic principles dear. He also worked for ‘Voice of America’. Earlier he launched Azeemabad Express in which his editorial column ‘mujhe bolne do’ earned good fame.
Padamsri Mr. Mujtaba Husain expressed grief over the demise of Dr. Rizwan Ahmed and conveyed condolences to his survivors.
