He told that he is not disappointed with Urdu Journalism. The future of Urdu Journalism is very bright. With the advancement of technology, even Hyderabadis living in America are able to read the newspaper published in Hyderabad. Due to the difference in day and night, they sleep after reading our newspaper whereas we read our newspaper when we get up from our sleep in the morning.

Technology has advanced to such an extent that newspapers could be read even on cell phones.

He told that by using modern technology, Siasat is reaching every nook and corner of the world through website. Our website has become multilingual. The news items published in Urdu in Siasat can now be read in English Hindi and Telugu on our website. The advantage of it is that those who don’t know Urdu can also read Siasat in their own favorite language.

Allama Ajaz Farukh told that although electronic media has progressed and reached every house through internet but it has not been proved so effective as print media. The news items which appear on website can’t be preserved in human memory whereas the effect of print media lasts for a longer period. This is the reason that despite the advancement of electronic media, in schools only printed textbooks are used for teaching. He told that in democracy, journalism occupies the status of the 4th pillar, which is somewhat stronger than the other three pillars.

Some governments and politicians complain about journalism that it is not playing its role properly and our media houses are inclined towards yellow journalism but it is not true.

He pointed out that the literature and diction “The Hindu” English Daily had when he was young, is not found in the newspapers of today.

The style of narration of Deccan Chronicle is different from other newspapers, which is more compatible for today’s young generation. Today’s youths have started talking in the style of language used in S.M.S
