Amman: A woman in Jordan was arrested by Jordanian authorities after she reportedly raised a gun in the face of Judge during a hearing on Thursday.
Anadolu Turkey’s news agency reported an official security source at the General Security Directorate as saying that “the woman raised the gun in front of the judge during one of the hearings today (Thursday) and was arrested”, Middle East Monitor reported.
The source also added that “investigations are still ongoing with the woman who was transferred to a women detention facility until investigations are completed”.
According to Jordanian Al-Ghad newspaper, the arrested woman was “involved in a forced eviction case during which she raised a pistol in front of the judge before a security officer intervened and managed to control her”.
